Lightengale Group’s second annual volunteer day was a success! LGG staff worked with Green Star Movement to create a mural designed by Green Star at a viaduct in the Chicago Woodlawn area (Dorchester & Marquette).
Green Star Movement is a Chicago-based non-profit that works to revitalize urban areas through public art. Since founding in 2005, they have completed over 75 projects.
Lightengale Group worked among other volunteers and staff members to help contribute to this beautiful mural. Projects take months of planning and hundreds of hours to complete. Lightengale Group was happy to help Green Star movement and help beautify a Chicago area in need. The ribbon-cutting for the new mural is currently scheduled for September 10th.
Last year LGG worked with Beacon Therapeutic, Kaboom and Radio Flyer to create a new playground.
