Izzy joined Lightengale Group in March of 2014 as project coordinator. Among his responsibilities are closing due diligence, processing closing draws for clients and handling the many details of multiple applications that go into tax credit developments. Izzy’s experience began in investor relations where he worked at bridging the communication gap between the investment community’s buy side/sell side and a client list of Fortune 500 companies in order to create shareholder value. He went on to further his career in the derivatives industry spending several years screen trading interest rates, commodities and equity markets while working his way up to the operations side of the business as partner of a boutique proprietary trading firm and director of a brokerage/software firm. Recently, Izzy spent time at a privately held venture capital firm as part of a business development team tasked with identifying and developing new business markets, streamlining the firm’s portfolio of assets under management and securing investment funding for future ventures. Although Izzy is new to the tax credit development environment he is intrigued by financial complexities regardless of the forum they exist in. He welcomes the opportunity of learning the many intricacies that go into taking a development from conception to fruition.
