Laura Nading joined the Lightengale team in August of 2018. She came to the company with experience working with communities to meet the needs of their community members like improving access to housing, public services, and jobs. She was formerly a community development program manager for the State of Indiana’s Office of Community Affairs and served as project manager for the UIC School of Urban Planning and Public Affairs.

Fun facts
I grew up on a farm, and for a few years, had a small farm of my own. I currently live out my former farming life by tending to my herb garden on my balcony and aspiring to have city chickens one day.

I try to get in as much Lake Michigan time as possible before it’s eyeball-freezing season again.
