New Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church (NPMBC), the project sponsor, is a well-established member of the community. New Pisgah has made public outreach and supports a primary part of its mission. New Pisgah manages an annual budget of over $1 million and hires nearly all of its employees from the community. Through the church and affiliate organizations, NPMBC helps to build the community by creating better living conditions, creating jobs for people in the community, and helping the growth of minority businesses. NPMBC is also the sponsor of two HUD 202 senior living independent buildings, both of which are located in Auburn Gresham.
