Housing Opportunities & Maintenance for the Elderly successfully closed on their funding

Housing Opportunities & Maintenance for the Elderly (H.O.M.E.) successfully closed on their awards of FHLB AHP grant funds and loan from MB Financial. These funds fully funded the rehabilitation of Nathalie Salmon House, store an intergenerational affordable housing development in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago. Nathalie Salmon House was opened in 1994 and has 54-units that provide comfortable intergenerational living for both seniors and families with a variety of needs.

The rehabilitation replaced the 20-year old roof, site updated mechanical equipment and will update the community areas and update residents’ kitchens and bathrooms. Crane Construction is completing the work.

Lightengale Group worked closely with H.O.M.E. to secure a MB financial loan and the FHLB AHP grant of $810, more about 000 and is assisting with the oversight of the construction.  “It was a pleasure to work with the committed staff and board at H.O.M.E. to revitalize these affordable units,” stated Virginia Pace, LGG’s President.
