Full Circle Communities is a Chicago-based philanthropic non-profit with the mission of expanding access to affordable housing through preservation and development, thoughtful design, and the provision of significant and contextual services. Full Circle dedicates 75% of their project cash flow to providing services for their residents. Full Circle now owns more than 800 units in three states, with another 250 approved or under construction. These properties have an average service budget of over $800,000 per year, none of which is reliant upon grants or fundraisers. Every cent is put towards Full Circle’s goal of making housing a firm foundation for life, and transforming the company’s properties into communities that both house and support their residents.
Fifteenth Street Apartments is Full Circle’s second property in Iowa; LGG also assisted with their first, The Arbor at Lindale Trail, which opened in Marion in 2016.
PROJECT INFO:
This adaptive reuse of a former school in Dubuque’s historic downtown provides 36 accessible or adaptable units targeting veterans, persons with disabilities and families who want to live close to transportation, parks and the other wonderful amenities that Dubuque has to offer.
The one and two bedroom apartments take advantage of the fantastic mid-century features of the building, which provides for a bright and open living spaces, unique floor plans and beautiful finishes. Building features include on-site parking, a large community room, a business center, and on site management and service offices
